Cultural Diplomacy & Bespoke Programming
Smithsonian Museum Special Program (Korean Ceramics): A pioneering six-month project creating a specialized cultural program for Smithsonian docents and board members. We coordinated advice from top Korean & U.S. experts for an in-depth study of Korean ceramics history and extensive field visits. The program, a first-ever attempt, earned the highest acclaim for its execution, marked by the use of exceptional interpretation—including the beautiful translation of an impromptu poem—highlighting our commitment to sophisticated cultural exchange and learning.

Innovative Agency Partnerships
Bloomberg: Served as Bloomberg’s Korean agency, conceptualizing and executing diverse ‘out-of-the-box’ events. We provided strategic consultation and close collaboration to ensure every event meticulously aligned with Bloomberg’s core values and innovative vision.

Global VIP Engagements
Fireside Chat with a VIP: We co-planned and executed an exclusive, high-level gathering featuring former U.S. President Bill Clinton (hosted by I Squared Capital). This project underscores our capacity to manage events with the highest level of security, confidentiality, and protocol.

Prestigious International Awards
King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Award for Translation: Served as the dedicated local DMC for our Arabic partners, successfully delivering the “best available” production for this esteemed event.

High-End Customized Programs
Curated VIP Program (Seoul Edition): Acted as the local DMC for a UK sports marketing firm, managing a bespoke full-lifecycle VIP program. This included luxury venue sourcing and curating unique cultural experiences, such as a traditional Korean handmade stamp-engraving workshop.

Large-Scale Public Exhibitions
James Suckling Great Wines World Seoul: As the official Korean agency, we managed this major exhibition and celebration, welcoming Korean wine lovers and top global wineries.

Curated VIP Program: Seoul Edition / Inje Speedium, 5-star Hotel Bar, high-end BBQ restaurant in Seoul

TAB served as the local Destination Management Company (DMC) partner in Korea for a UK-based sports marketing firm. Our role encompassed the full lifecycle of VIP customized programs: from initial proposal and meticulous preparation to on-site execution and comprehensive support.
Specifically, the TAB project team and dedicated coordinator were responsible for ensuring a seamless high-end experience in Korea by:

  • Proposing and securing optimal venues for high-level dining and meetings, perfectly aligning with the client’s preferences, group size, and desired standard of luxury.
  • Managing all venue reservations and contract processes.
  • Developing tailored, budget-conscious branding strategies to ensure a satisfying and cohesive event experience.

DMC Korea for ISIC event 2014

The 2014 ISIC Event was held in Seoul, South Korea from 21 ~ 23 May 2014. Close to 90 ISIC managers, representing more than 70 countries attended the 3 day ISIC Event in 2014. ISIC issuers were joined by reprentatives from ISIC’s many global partners.
